(8)We offer a wide range of charging lockers to choose from. They are highly practical for use in the educational sector. With up to 16 compartments, this range is multi-purpose. Options of powered, non-powered, mobile, or static are available.
Our charging lockers provide storage for a variety of smart devices. You can choose from powered models which allow students to charge their devices whilst in lessons. Alternatively, we have non-powered models which offer just storage. You can choose to have them fixed in a specific location to offer more security. If you’d prefer, there are also mobile version which can be moved around. These are ideal for use during exams as all devices can be stored away. Students are comfortable in knowing that their devices are safe and secure.

Smart lockers that charge your device whilst storing it away and keeping it safe. We offer models with 8 to 16 compartments. Each model is available with or without charging points and colours vary across the range.
Phone Charging Lockers
What an excellent way to manage students’ phones without them feeling as if it is being taken away. As students enter the class, they can put their phone into one of the compartments. This can charge it if you wish, or just keep it safe and secure during the duration of the lesson. Students know that their device is safe in mobile charging lockers. Teachers know that they have as much of their student’s attention as possible. The Probe TabBox 15 Compartment is a great choice for mobile phone charging lockers. It has enough space to hold a phone and a few small personal possessions. Whilst enough space to charge a phone, it won’t take up a huge amount of space in the classroom. With 15 compartments, an average class of thirty would need two. Measuring 1.7m high, mobile phone lockers are only just over 30cm wide and fit nicely in corners.
Laptop Charging Lockers
Charging laptop lockers are an excellent way to ensure students can keep power throughout the day. These are mainly used in higher education settings. This includes sixth form, colleges, universities, and adult education centres. This is very useful for students who are studying design led courses or computer led courses. It also applies to any other courses where constant access to a laptop is required. Probe LapBox is an excellent range. It offers space to charge a laptop of various sizes and some personal effects. Available in charging or non-charging and a variety of colour choices. To charge it just needs to be need a power socket.
Tablet Charging Lockers
With just as many tablets around as there are laptops and mobile phones, power is never far from owners’ minds. Schools and colleges can help by providing lockers that charge tablets. More and more students are moving from traditional writing devices to modern smart devices. More education centres are encouraging this shift in behaviour due to the learning resources available on such devices. To be able to support this change, facilities need to be put in place. Tablet charging lockers are an ideal solution to this. They offer safe and secure charging points that can be assigned to each person. The Probe TabBox 8 Compartment has been designed just for this purpose. Offering 8 secure compartments to store tablets, it can offer charging or just as a storage locker. Charging options include plug or USB. Available with a choice of four door colours, you’re sure to find a powder coated colour to suit your school’s current décor.
USB Lockers
Many of our products offer a USB charging point. This ensures that students are only charging devices that require low energy usage. Without being able to plug in to a plug socket, it also reduces the risk of anything overheating a causing a problem. However, all of our charging units are tested according to BS 6396:2008. Current models allow for standard USB cables, we do not yet offer a USB-C port. We do plan to update this in the near future. Please note that we would suggest using a lock with either a combination lock or a pin code to secure your storgae locker.
